MTV Asia Awards 2008 was held in Genting, Arena of Stars. It was my 1st experience attending this event. It was awesome, fantastic and great. Wow, don't know how to explain. An experience that I will never forget.

Phew, another month has passed. It's coming to Aug now. Been a busy month for me. Went for netball training, work n work...... But I did enjoy meeting up with my dearest friend in Mid Valley. Chat until no time to go shopping, hehe....... Hope we can hangout more often with the other 2, rather than just both of us.

Phuket Trip 20/4-23/4

Went to Phuket last weekend (20/4-23/4) with Yin Wan. Just the 2 of us. On the 1st day we arrive, the taxi driver seems like not sure of the place that we are going to stay. Btw, we are not staying at hotel, just guesthouse. The driver manage to find the way there, Little Buddha Patong. The guesthouse is clean and ok la. Near shopping centre and walking distance to Patong Beach. Once we check in, we walk around the shopping complex Jungceylon. Looks quite new. There's musical fountain in the middle of the 3 complex. Very nice. As we walk along, I saw Arsenal shop. They are giving 10% as well. Msg my bro about this. He will check and call me if he wants anything.

Then we felt abit hungry, looking around and see what is nice to eat. We ended up in one of the cafe there. Menu looks interesting. So in the end we order satay (yummy), green curry and another dish is prawns. 3 dishes and 2 beers cost us RM52. Not too bad la rite. After dinner we walk home and looking around for tour. We manage to find a tour booth which that lady gave us a reasonable price to Phi Phi Island. After getting the tour arrangement, we went home, took bath and rest for our next day adventure.

On the morning, the driver came early to pick us to the pier. We manage to get the front place where is so hot(that's why I'm tanned now) and enjoy the view. We went snorkelling at Rn tee Bay. The water is very clear there. Can see the carol gardens teeming with fantastic colorful sea life. But I went down for awhile only as Yin Wan don't want to go down.

Later we went to Maya Bay, where the movie "The Beach" was filmed. The sand is white over there. Very nice. I forgot which island we had our lunch at. Too many island already. Hehe...
Khai Island is also a nice place to snorkel. One of our tourist manage to snorkel with a shark.

We was so tired after the 1st tour. We reach home and took bath then we went around hunting for local food. We had their local kuey teow soup, very nice and I add too much chilli powder already. We tried the pan cake with banana, is so yummy. Feel like eating it now....
After dinner we went to the tour booth and book another day tour to James Bond Island. This is cheaper compare to Phi Phi Island. After booking we went back to the guesthouse and rest.

We went canoeing @ Talu Island before we reaching James Bond Island. I was interesting going under the cave. But I still prepare Phi Phi Island tour. Hehe..... Nothing much at James Bond tour. We went to Monkey Cave to see the temple inside. I'm really tired already that time. Sleep on the way back to the guesthouse.

We took bath and went out for dinner. It was raining that time, so we just manage to get some road side food and we even went to 7 eleven to buy instant noodle and eat in the room. Haahaa, quite fun also. We have snacks, instant noodle, drinks, satay......

On our departure day, we woke up early. Went to Patong beach and hunting to food again. We ended up eating pork burger in 7 eleven. Haha.... 7 eleven again.... Not bad leh the burger. We walk the whole morning and before heading to the guesthouse, we bought fruits back to the room and eat. Wanted to do tattoo but all the shop still close at that time, should have done it a day earlier. Not a permanent but a temporary one.

I'm still feeling tired now after 2 days. Don't want to go out as I'm peeling now.... Better stay at home......

Raining ICE ......

I heard people saying about ICE rain. Today is my first time experience it. It was around 3pm when it's started to rain. But the sound of the rain is different from the usual sound. It was abit louder. So I went out to have a look. The rain drop was a bit huge and when I have a closer look, it's actually ICE. Wow, really ICE falling down from the sky. The size is not that huge, it's around 20 cents. My first time seeing that. Wow......

Long CNY Holiday

Wow, been resting for one week already. Going to start work coming monday lah, feel abit lazy already. Don't know how my working station will be, filled with papers? or as clean as I left before CNY. What have I been doing this whole week? I been sleeping, eating, watching DVDs, online chatting and facebook. Gosh, help me on monday as I will be learning CSC work in the morning and afternoon back to account department to hand over some work. I guess this few weeks I will be abit busy all this. That's why I applied a long leave before I start work so that I can have enough rest before starting my battle. Hehe ....

Went for an interview last monday for the Customer Service Executive position. The interview session last about 1 hour plus. It was a good experience for me. There were 4 people in the room all together. They mostly asked about my problem solving skills I face in my current work. At first I was abit nervous in the session, Clement notice it and asked me to relax abit. As we go on, I'm getting less nervous and bit relax. It was a good session (as for me).
This morning Clement told me I was offered for that position and asked whether I accept or not. I told him I accept the offer. My FC looks abit sad when I told him I accepted that offer. I'm sad too, leaving my current position soon. I learned alots of things this few years in finance. Thanks to my team leader and my FC. They have taught me alots of things throughout the years. And forgetting my finance colleagues, I'm sure will be missing the laughter in that finance room.
So right now, I will have to start sitting with Mureen everyday for at least 1 hour to learn on my new job scope for 2008. I will be officially working in CSC on 18 Feb, just after Chinese New Year holiday. After that I will be double hatting until my successor come in to take over my current work.
Hope I can cope with all this after CNY. CPS, gambateh.

To start a brand new year with .....

I'm starting my brand new year by joining yoga class with my sister-in-law and her friend. Good start as I'm so lazy to exercise and with my sister-in-law with me, there will be no reason for me to skip classes already...... Hehe......
We tot we were late on our first day of yoga, but the teacher was later than us. The teacher is going slow for us as we are the new joiners and those people is regular student. It was a bit tough but somehow I manage it and now my body is feeling so tired. Wish I could sleep now but I have to wait till my hair dry 1st.
So in a mean time, facebook time.....

Hope I will not regret with my decision for submitting the resume and will work happily if I'm offered that position. And of cause to earn more $$$$........

Not forgetting my travelling. Hope the Taiwan trip is on......... If possible, more n more travelling this year.

I need to be more sociable, hence, I need to brush up on my social skills.

It's coming to the end of 2007. What have I been doing ? What have I achieved ? Am I happy thru out the year ?
It's been another challenging year for me, especially my job. When everything seems to be so right, suddenly there's so many changes and direction for my job. Should I take up a challenge in another field ? What should I do ? I'm getting stress thinking of this. Gosh, what should I do ?? Just put this aside till next year and enjoy first.

Yeah, I'm going to S'pore next week. To meet my best friend and relax abit. Hope I will get a good time before coming back to face the working world.

Busy Month

1st week busy with closing, then follow with Wai Wai's wedding. Then my brother's wedding and I just came back from Penang for my company family day. Still feeling sleepy right now...... Hope I can drop more words but I can't think of anything to write now...... Better stop right now.......

Haven't got time to really sit down and write something here. Lucky today is a holiday for me, so I can drop something here. Will be going back to Seremban later in the evening with Lee Lee and Hao En. Hopefully it's not jam that time.

Weeks passed by one by one. Every week been busy with different things. After LP's wedding, I've been helping my brother with his wedding preparation. Went to choose wedding gown, hunting for wedding shoe & ring, choose their wedding photo & design and the most important thing, spring cleaning at home. More things need to be done as well.

It's sad when someone you loved passed away. And the saddest part was you were not there by her side for her last breath after accompany her day & night in the hospital. Maybe she knows that's the best time as some of them might not take it seeing her stop breathing. My condolences to my cousin for losing their beloved grandmother.

Attended my best friend wedding last weekend. Had a great time hanging around with my buddies. We went shopping hunting for dress and accessories (and so tired after that). TL can still sleep all the way back while I have to drive all the way back......

We are like so busy for LP's wedding, (hahaha) but don't know busy doing what also. But then, I really had a great time hanging around with my buddies (even though all of us didn't get enough sleep).......

My brother just came back from her gf's grandma funeral today. They planned to get marry within this 100 days or else they will have to wait for 3 years. But they are going for a simple wedding. Closing done for June 2007, with no mistake.... Hehe..... But have to chase someone from Singapore and London for something. New people been taking over the position, have to send so many e-mails to them only reply at the end of the day, with no specific answer. But I'm glad I manage to did something out of it and my FC praise me for that..... Hehehe....

Feeling Down

Gosh, I'm really down today. It was really my mistake. I have miss-out a column to sort. What a silly mistake to be done. It's not an excuse to be use as doing the report first time alone. I can't accept it. Everyone is trying to make me feel better. But I just can't really accept that. Hope I can recover this few days.

"Just be careful next time", this is what my finance controller told me. He didn't even scold me. And this make me feel even more uneasy. If he at least speak in a higher tone, I would have felt better. Instead of that, he even "pat" my head like a little girl. Do I really look like a little in everyone's heart?? What should I do to change their thought??

Help!!!....

CPS, try to relax and don't give too much pressure for yourself. At least we found out something new from this mistake. At least we know why the code doesn't appear.

What a bad day today. Things just not going my way. Why it has to be me??? I'm totally burnt out at that moment. What have I done?? The code not appearing, izzit my fault?? Even the consultant still can't solved them. I spent my whole day trying to solve and yet it still can't be resolved. Will have to continue the battle tomorrow. I'm just not in the mood to do other work, but just to look into this problem. If not, the sales people won't be getting their report correct. I'm just tired. Hope SK coming in tomorrow to help us resolve this problem.

Gosh, almost forgot about my session with my FM tomorrow. I still haven't prepare for the session. What should I talk to her?? What's is happening in our department right now?? Everything looks fine, but izzit that good?? In what factor/sector we should improve?? What's my aspiration?? How am I going to answer her?? Well, guess I have to stop here and think of what I should talk to my FM.

CNY Holiday

Wow, it's the 6th day of CNY already. And I only got the chance to rest today. I have missed 2 gathering this year. Sob sob........ However, it's also an enjoyable CNY.
On the first day, we went house visiting (though it's not many) and karaoke as well. We sang from 9pm-2am...... Sing until no voice, hehe......
The second day I have to go back to PD, my mom side. All my uncles, aunties and cousins is back from Johor.
Third day, extreme trip to Penang. Our journey start at 2am, and I'm so sleepy....... We stop in Ipoh for Tim Sam at 6am(and the place is already FULL with ppl). Then we continue our journey to penang. We spend alots of time waiting and touring. At the end, we only manage to go to Kek Lok Si on our own. We were all sweating so badly as some of us were wearing long sleeves. Phew........ We miss out the fried kuey teow and assam laksa.... Sob sob...... Before we start our journey back, we stop at Tambun for dinner. And guess what time we reach home?? It's 3.00am...... Really extreme trip.....
And after 3 hours of sleep, I have to pack my thing and start the journey to Taiping. I slept throughout the journey, too tired and sleepy. We reach Taiping in the afternoon and straight go for lunch. Guess what, after lunch I continue to sleep...... Recharge my energy. Haha......
The next day, we start our journey back at 3.00pm. We stop at Shah Alam and have dinner there before we go home. Lee Lee followed us back. Then later at night, went out for drink with my dearest friends. Can't stay very long, went home around 12something.
And today I'm updating my blog after so long. Hopefully I will update my blog more often.

Wow, it's mid of the month already. Time really flies. It's the time of the year again, spring cleaning. Chinese New Year is coming soon. Lots of things need to be done. Almost done with the cloths, but still look see look see. Hehe. My mom has been painting the gate over the week days. That mean less work to do when I'm back for the weekends.

What have I been doing for the past few weeks. After closing, I've been handling over some of my task to my colleague and also learn part of her task. Think next week will be doing the cleaning of the hanging PO's. I just finish download the details, now going thru which PO's need to be cleared from the system since 2005. Got to get back to work now. Work from home. Sob sob. Holiday=Work.

Do you know anyone in LPG finance,
The “Lost Platoon” that was ‘found’ with only 0.01% chance.
The original unit was completely disbursed,
We lost our Commander & the veterans transferred.
New recruits were assembled to take over the operation,
Ill equipped ,ill trained to handle the situation.
We dug deep and weathered the waves of shelling,
Contained the damage while help was flown in.
Clearing the “debris” and hope for a new beginning,
As HQ halt the advance and our new Head checked in.

We began with AR with Ei Hui as the Team Lead,
A capable lady that last year managed to get married.
Yee Kang is the epitome of true dedication,
Fast cars tweak to perfection is his next passion.
Azah’s potential has just began to bloom,
Her singing always helps to clear the gloom.
Syima is well known for her wonderful patience,
Her penchant for details have saved us in may instance.
Karen is the ‘Baby-G’ that we recently took,
Who got the brains to go with that killer look.
Then we have a ‘man with two tales’ we called Padzli,
Wearing 2 hats and also supports the marketing fraternity.
Zaiton has become our specialist in SOD,
This mother of 4 is no stranger to the many ‘initiatives’ of an MNC.
Chen was the much-sought reinforcement for cylinder recon,
A ‘hired gun’ to end legacy disputes that was passed on.

We now go to AP lead by ‘Laila manja’ ,
Her soft-spoken ness is a brilliant disguise for her true stature.
Wei Fong has her fair share of a colorful past,
The trusted aid who has been certainly learning fast.
Bavani has been a ‘survivor’ of many ‘campaigns’,
Tapping on her experience we have much to gain.
Completing the squad we have the ever helpful Paik Sze,
But don’t mess with her as her father is an arms dealer you see.

RTR is now oversee by another handsome young lad named Walter,
After going through the ‘baptism of fire’ we hope he will not easily falter.
Lai Wan a.k.a Mimi adds a feminine touch ,
A loving wife who manages the intercompany charge.
A new replacement Hasli will be joining the team,
Hopefully I have prepared him well for the initial ‘shock’ when it’s not what it seems.

For MI in Yean San we trust,
As directed by HQ, manages our cost we must.
Generating the essential reports for the business to track,
But managing with our current system she’s about to crack!
Her new assistant Armee will be joining the fold,
A fan of the ‘ Prancing Horse’ I was diligently told.
For Yvonne our funds she will monitor,
Who seldom eat lunch sometimes we wonder.
From credit, Sandran looks like someone from Bollywood,
You know the moustache Inspector that always catches the crook.

In IT’s hot seat Jackson unknowingly sat,
Plenty of sparks but no major fire yet.
Raj also reminds you of another Bollywood character,
The smooth talking bloke that mothers warned their daughters.
Raj and Sandran makes up for an interesting plot,
Two lost bothers that cross path and got each other shot .
Coming back to reality we have Kak Sarimah,
Taking care of the daily grouses who cooks great nasi lemak.

Kok Onn heads the Contract & Procurement,
15 years of great service an honorable achievement.
Karen J always have a scarf wrap around her,
A cheerful lady that helps with our purchase orders.
On secondment we have Chee Fong,
Always the last to finish her lunch cause she takes so long.

Now Cecilia is our new Chief,
Pulling the team together and steer the ship.
Oh, and there’s me tagging along,
Just happy to be part of a great team and they called me Ong.

Last but not least to those who were with us through thick & thin,

Haven't really been updating my blog. Lazy and tired as well. Been a bit busy with work as I'm learning something new in my job. Doing analysis until my eyes also so tired. I went to S'pore to meet up with TL and we departed together to HK for a holiday which we had planned months ago. It was really a tiring but wonderful n enjoyable vacation away from hectic workaholic life. It was a free n easy trip and another great place we've been wanting to go is the newly opened Disneyland. This is my first time going to Disneyland. I like the MTR to disneyland. Its a kinda luxury n comfortable train with cushioned seats n lots miniatures disney characters inside. What i like most is the window, its a shape of Mickey head. Even the handle is the shape of Mickey head. ~(^v^)~ We even buy the MTR ticket (Mickey) as souvenir. We spent whole day there, taking lots of picture while touring around. There was Disney on Parade and the fireworks at the Sleeping Beauty castle at night was really beautiful. Disneyland was our last destination, so we have to control ourselves not to spend so much during the first few day.

Besides that, we also went to Lantau Island (Big Buddha), the Peak, Shenzhen (follow local tour), Harbour City, Wong Tai Sin and area around Tsim Tsa Tsui. Eating in Hong kong its really heaven...Yumyum... We even went to Healthy Dessert Hui Lau San twice. Still thinking of the dessert now, didn't manage to try everything.

We took a taxi to airport n the taxi was speeding. The police traffic stop the taxi, get his identity card, it's just like the HongKong show we watch. I wanted to take a snap of it but dare not, scare the police summon me. =Þ
We reach the airport at last, we had Mcdonald for our lunch n it was really nice (pork burger). We even had our last minute shopping in the disney shop, really shop till we drop. Haha, TL, regret for not buying more.

It was a wonderful holiday, really enjoyed n had a great time though we always sleep late. A tiring trip but it's worth. Where is our next destination, with more ppl??

Michael & Carmen

Past few months were a busy month for the newly wed, Michael & Carmen.

Congratulations dear.

As for few of us, we were only busy attending their bachelor nite, not forgetting playing the groom on that day itself and lastly the dinner. It was my first time driving to the her house after work on friday, got lost and luckily found the way later. Phew, lucky still got petrol that time, if not I also don't know what to do. Didn't stay very late that night, left around 10plus. Pity Carmen as she only slept for 3 hours. I reach her house almost 7am on her wedding day. Had our breakfast and listen to what her friend had planned for the groom. What does Michael had to do. First he had to sing Carmen's favourite song. And then, wow, he had to drink Coke mix with Wasabi and cakes with wasabi cream with pepper. Luckily few of his "heng tai" back him up and the rest were so weak. After that he had to finish a container filled with sour, sweet, bitter, salty & spicy stuff. Eeerrr......... He had to finish this on his own. We had to skip 1 of the plan as we were running out of time. Later we follow his "heng tai"'s car to Kajang and later to Sungai Long. Their house are quite nice too, but some space still under renovation. Spend around 1 hour there and the "heng tai" send us back to Cheras. On the way back I'm already feel so sleepy. The moment I reach home, straight to bed. Got to have a beauty nap before going to the dinner. Hehe... =)

Reach the restaurant around 7pm. Call Yin Wan and she still at home, eerrr........ Lucky I saw Jeffrey & Terry and went in with them. Then Teng Ting arrive too. Haven't meet some of them for almost 1 year and some 3 years, but still can remember them la. I didn't join the Karaoke with them after the dinner, it will be to late for me to go back alone (Mom even called to remind me). So will meet up with them this July when Rebecca is back to M'sia. Hope we will have a great time that time.

Not well since yesterday morning, not sure it's food poisoning or the weather. No appetite the whole day. Driving back in such a condition is so bad, especially when it rain suddenly. Have to be extra careful. Reach home quite early, took bath and tot I can sleep. Been turning around for almost 3 hour still can't sleep. Hai....The neighbor is playing the remix so loud, my headache got worst. Have to take panadol only can sleep.
I'm so sleepy this morning, should have ask my brother to send me to work this morning. Took MC today and reach home around 10plus, slept the whole afternoon. Feeling a bit better now but still got a little bit of headache.
My body is so weak now. Must be lack of exercise. Hai....
Ok, got to get more rest now. Chiao.

Finally I applied my leave today. Already let my FC know (coz he had to release them in the system). Luckily he is in a good mood today, right timing. Hehe..... Coz last monday he had already warn us to plan for our closing in May b'coz of the holiday. So he just asked me whether my team leader is aware of this or not. I told him that I have plan out with my team leader what need to be done and the daily work will be shared by my team. ~(^v^)~ I'm so lucky to have a good and supporting team. Although there's only 4 of us, we will always backup each other when one of us not around. Love ya !!!...

Cheng Meng

At last we went for our Cheng Meng in Sendayan yesterday. It was raining heavyly in the morning and yet there were so many people. Some people even bought firecracker and light it there. We spend almost one hour there before head home.

Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room.
She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"
The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."
Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"
The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good-bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.
"Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked.
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the university for study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."
Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult.
It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke.
Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:
"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good-bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm, sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He send The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Most of the ppl will be going for Cheng Meng this week. Like my brother and his gf's family, (that's why I here, looking after the shop) they left early this morning to Perak (one day trip) for Cheng Meng. So, my family will go for Cheng Meng next week. Still within the period.

Yesterday was my first session with our FM since she come in beginning this year. A session that last 17 mins, a short break from our work. She showed us a clips on FISH. Very interesting philosophy.

This happen to my best friend. It was a sunny afternoon and she decided to go home to have a rest. When she was about to reach her housing area, there's 2 guys riding a motor snatched her bag. Luckily she's not badly hurt though she had a cut on her hand and knee.
